Arrowtown Primary School dominated the Otago Regional Rippa Rugby Championships held yesterday at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin, winning two of the three finals.

The school won the year 7-8 final with a comprehensive 11-2 victory against Rosebank School and beat The Terrace School (Alexandra) 7-5 in the year 5-6 final. It has earned the right to compete at the nationals in Wellington late next month.

But the school had to settle for second in the year 3-4 final, losing 7-3 to Queenstown Primary School.
