Former New Zealand cricketer Adam Parore has conquered the world's highest mountain.
After one attempt failed due to bad weather, the ex-Black Caps wicketkeeper made it to the summit of Mt Everest on Friday -- fulfilling a life-long dream.
Parore is hoping to raise $100,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation from his climb. He is due to return to New Zealand this week.
