The cause of a house fire in New Plymouth tonight is being investigated by the fire service and police.
The fire service was called to a house on Weymouth Street, in central New Plymouth, about 6.15pm, and took about half an hour to extinguish it, a fire service spokesman said.
Someone was injured in the fire, but no further details were available.
