A couple have escaped with their lives after their 4WD vehicle rolled 100m down a bank in a crash in Hawkes Bay today.
The Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter airlifted the man and woman to Hawkes Bay Hospital after the crash at Puketitiri.
A spokeswoman said the vehicle rolled 100m down a bank before it came to a stop.
The woman sustained head, pelvic and arm injuries, and the man minor back injuries.
