A body of a man was found in a Wanganui park last night.
Police said they had launched an investigation after the body was found at Te Mana Park by a member of the public about 8:30pm.
Officers guarded the scene overnight and this morning police would commence a scene examination.
Police said the man has not been formally identified and at this stage the death was being treated as unexplained.
