A man is dead after his motorcycle collided with a light truck in Auckland this morning.
Police said the crash happened at the intersection of the Papakura Motorway offramp northbound and Hingaia Rd around 8am.
The motorcyclist died at the scene.
Detours were put in place as the wreckage was cleared but the road has since reopened.
The police serious crash unit is investigating.
