Three rescued from rocks after dinghy sinks

The coastguard was called out to rescue three men clinging to rocks about 200m from shore off Worser Bay, Wellington, this morning.

Police said the men had been in a small boat, possibly a dinghy, which sank, leaving them too far out to swim for dry land.

Emergency services were contacted around 8.30am and the men were picked up about half an hour later.
