Two people were injured in a single vehicle crash near Christchurch this morning.
Southern police communications shift inspector Peter Hegarty said emergency services were called to the single vehicle crash on West Coast Rd in Kirwee, near Christchurch at 8.50am.
He said two people were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in left the road, then rolled.
An ambulance spokeswoman said the pair was transported to Christchurch Hospital.
One was in a serious condition, and the other was suffering from minor injuries, she said.
