Jurors are continuing to deliberate at the trial of former MP Taito Phillip Field on 35 criminal charges.
The 10-person jury went out yesterday and resumed at 9.30am today.
Protesters who interrupted proceedings at the trial yesterday remained inside the court buildings today but outside the courtroom itself.
There was a brief confrontation between them, court staff and police as they tried to film themselves saying a prayer inside the buildings about 10.30am.
Filming is not permitted without permission inside court buildings.
The confrontation ended without anybody being ejected from the court buildings.
Field has denied 12 charges of bribery and corruption as an MP, alleging he accepted work on his homes by Thai tradesmen in return for providing immigration assistance.
He has also denied 23 charges of wilfully attempting to obstruct or pervert the course of justice, alleging he tried to derail investigations into the work on his homes.
