Midfield battle.

The striker scores.

Another shot at goal.

And again . . .

Who'd be a goalkeeper, eh?

Maybe a bit dreich outside where Wellie boots and brollies rule, but at the magnificent Edgar Centre only Futsal shoes were in vogue, as what looked and sounded like thousands of clever little athletes played their hearts out.

World famous players such as Ronaldhino and Messi learned their skills on indoor Futsal courts, and they are the perfect environment to hone skills for Futsal andFootball.

Its astonishing the ball control and clever turns those Futsal youngsters learn in a short time.

Good value also, to get down and have a look - although be early - parking is not easy, due to the huge crowds that congregate most nights.

Or of course you can take your 'slippers' and join in, there are evenings for all sorts of age groups and skill levels.

Must put my Wellies back on, and head home for tea.
