The Dunedin City Royals maintained their perfect start to the ODT Women’s Southern Premiership with a 4-0 win over Roslyn-Wakari on Saturday.
First-half goals to Toni Power and Mikayla Gray set the platform for the Royals.
Late goals from Georgia Kennedy (86th minute) and Shontelle Smith (injury time) secured the three points, meaning the Royals cannot be caught for top spot once the league splits.
Queenstown secured a very late 2-1 win over University thanks to Kayla Bagrie’s 88th-minute winner.
University had taken a first-half lead through Morgan Smiley, which was cancelled by Carmen Sealy’s 71st-minute equaliser.

Northern looked like it was going to hold on to secure its first points of the season against Green Island, only to be crestfallen when Branwen Jones fired in a goal in the 89th-minute goal to secure Green Island its second successive win.

Mosgiel broke forward, and Morgan Day met Taylor Donaldson’s cross at the far post on the 24th minute. Rhys Quarrell made sure Mosgiel would take all the points in the 90th minute when he raced away following Genta Kojima’s great through ball.
