Bike stolen from garage

    A mountainbike was stolen from an Oamaru property at the weekend.

    Sergeant Blair Wilkinson said the black Turner bike was stolen from a garage in Chelmer St, the thieves smashing a padlock.

    The burglary occurred between 2pm and 4.30pm on Sunday.
