A person was trapped in a car after a serious crash blocked State Highway 6 for a time near Gibbston yesterday.
A police spokesman said emergency services were called to the two-vehicle collision on the highway between Gibbston Back and Victoria Flats Rds about 5.45pm.
The accident closed the road until about 7.20pm, a NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi spokesperson said.
The spokesperson urged motorists to take care in the area. — Allied Media
