Four youths arrested in stolen vehicle

Four youths were taken into custody without incident after a slow-speed chase of a stolen vehicle along North Rd to Waitati. 

Police said they were alerted to a vehicle being driven erratically in North Dunedin about 4.40pm yesterday. 

Police did not pursue the vehicle due to the manner of driving, but observed from a distance. 

Police successfully set road spikes near Waitati, causing the vehicle to slow, then stop on State Highway 1.
