Medical staff from Dunedin Hospital move across the tarmac at Dunstan after the newest addition to the Otago Regional Rescue Helicopter fleet landed at Dunstan Hospital, in Clyde, yesterday.
The $15 million state-of-the art Airbus H145 twin-engine helicopter made its first transfer from Clyde to Dunedin.
Helicopters Otago managing director and chief executive Graeme Gale said because of the advanced digital technology on board, the chopper was "very clever" and allowed rescue crews "more capabilities than ever before".
