Members of the Central Otago Youth Council (from left) Elizabeth Wells (17), Caitlin Richards (18), Hunter Stirling- Lindsay (13) and Bri Scarfe (18) were among the dozens of people who attended a blessing ceremony at Puna Rangatahi’s new Alexandra premise last night.

The special event was also attended by Whaea Louise McKenzie, of Whakaruru Whanau, Francie Diver, of Ngai Tahu, and Carole Gillions, of the Alexandra and Districts Youth Trust, among others.

The ceremony also included a waiata and speeches.
