Baring in mind, spring has arrived

Participants in the second annual Polar Bare smashed last year’s record for the number of skiers or snowboarders to make their way down The Remarkables in bikinis and budgie smugglers yesterday.

Held as part of Snow Machine, a five-day festival of  events on and off the mountain, "the bare" attracted more than 1000 participants.

Snow Machine ends on Sunday.
