The Alexandra Blossom Festival's 60th birthday celebration went off in style on Saturday.

Thousands lined the town’s main street to watch the parade of trucks, vintage vehicles, bands, floats and mini-floats, called "florreys", built around a supermarket trolley.

About 15,000 people turned up to celebrate the occasion at Pioneer Park after the festival parade.

The celebration included entertainment for the kids and several musical acts.
