The Cromwell community now has two intravenous drug pumps to use, bought with money from a charity golf tournament fundraiser.
Almost $7000 was used to buy the pumps from proceeds of the Cromwell Lions and golf clubs' annual Golden Golf Tournament in March last year.
The arrival of the pumps, which were ordered 18 months ago, was delayed due to changes in medical regulations, former Cromwell Lions Club president Roi Waller said.
Mr Waller said the Lions and golf clubs decided Cromwell residents with serious long-term illnesses, or in need of palliative care, required pumps for pain relief.
