A gold nugget is one of the prizes in a scavenger hunt that will take people around some of the Teviot Valley's historic gold sites today, as part of celebrations to mark 150 years since the discovery of gold in the region.
The hunt will finish at 3pm and then there will be be a "family fun" afternoon at the town's playground.
