A 30-year-old is in a serious condition in Dunedin Hospital after a motorcycle crash in Poolburn yesterday.
A police spokeswoman said a person had sustained serious injuries after crashing a motorcycle into a tree on private property about 4.40am.
Police, ambulance and Fire and Emergency New Zealand crews attended the scene.
A St John spokesman confirmed the patient was a male and he was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital by helicopter with what were believed to be serious injuries.
