With a national bullfighting champion father and a national barrel-racing champion mother, 1-year-old Reba Taylor, of Mossburn, is unlikely to be watching rodeos from her little pink chair for long.

Yesterday, Reba and her parents went to the Millers Flat Rodeo where she watched her dad, seasoned cowboy Glenn Taylor, take on the bulls.

Her father said time would tell whether Reba followed in his or his wife’s rodeo footsteps.

Large crowds joined the Taylor family at the Millers Flat Rodeo.

Club president Cole Wells said this was the rodeo’s 60th year holding the event on Boxing Day.

"When you get days like this, [and] see the banks full like that ... it’s good to see people still enjoy this."
