Emergency services personnel work at the scene of a crash in which a vehicle ended up a ditch near Lauder yesterday.

Senior Sergeant Ian Kerrisk, of Alexandra, said a 15-year-old girl was taken to Dunstan Hospital with a shoulder injury, and the two other passengers were left with minor injuries, after a Toyota Prado rolled several times before coming to rest in a ditch on State Highway 85, near Lauder.

Emergency services were called about 2pm.

Speed and alcohol were not believed to be factors and seatbelts were worn, undoubtedly saving the occupants from more serious injury, Snr Sgt Kerrisk said.
