Two injured in collision

Emergency services personnel attend a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of the northern end of Sunderland St and State Highway 8, above the Clyde Dam yesterday.

Two people were taken to Dunstan Hospital with moderate or minor injuries.

The crash occurred about 1.50pm and about six police, ambulance and fire units attended.

The road was closed until 3.30pm.

A police spokesman said four people were in the two vehicles.

One had moderate injuries and three had "minor or nil injury".

Police were unable to provide any other information, including  the age or gender of the  occupants of the vehicles.

Police were still investigating the cause of the  crash, the spokesman said.
