Patrick Joseph Anderson ("Paddy") of Alexandra, formerly of 'Nil Desperadum' Poolburn, recently celebrated his 70th birthday.
Four generations of Andersons and many friends attended the celebrations, travelling from Australia, the North Island and various parts of the South Island.
Patrick hosted two parties with the large party catered by Mr & Mrs Flannery of the Criterion Club Hotel in Alexandra and the cakes from the Centennial Bakery in Alexandra.
Music was an important part of the evening with live performances by Patrick and his Band as well as Jimmy Dundass and his Band.
