Hunter Campbell abseils from the Loan and Merc building in Harbour St under the watchful eye of Rob Connolly, of Vertical Ventures.
The abseiling between 11am and 2pm yesterday kicked off the second week of school holiday activities organised by Oamaru's Victorian Precinct.
Other activities this week include making and performing with puppets, a trip around the Oamaru Steam and Rail workshop, bridge art, felt ball making and the Oamaru I-Site treasure hunt.
