A man has been killed in an accident on a farm near Oamaru today.
Senior Sergeant Craig Brown, of Dunedin, said police were at the scene.
Snr Sgt Brown said emergency services were called to the property, a private residence on Ardgowan Rd, about 11.15am.
A St John ambulance and the rescue helicopter were called, but the 63-year-old man died at the scene.
The matter has been referred to WorkSafe New Zealand.
