A 16-year-old female who went missing in Oamaru early today has been found alive and well in the Herbert area late this morning..
Judith Margaret George went missing about 1am from a Harlech St address and police became involved about 5am, Oamaru Sergeant Tony Woodbridge said.
She had left home before, but this time grave fears were held for her safety.
Police thought she could be around the streets of Oamaru, south of Kakanui around All Day Bay or on state highways towards Dunedin, where she had been found before.
