Two Oamaru men were let off with a warning after an altercation at the town’s main street courthouse this week.
The men, both aged 31, got into a heated argument in the foyer at the Oamaru District Court just before 10.30am yesterday, Sergeant Blair Corlet, of Oamaru, said.
Court staff intervened and both men were arrested and charged with disorderly behaviour.
Each man was given a formal written warning, Sgt Corlet said.
No injuries were sustained by either man during the altercation, he said. — Allied Media
