The death of a 51-year-old Arrowtown man, whose body was found on a walking track near the township on yesterday evening, has been referred to the coroner.
Senior Constable Chris Blackford, of Queenstown police, said the man's body was found lying face down on the Sawpit Gully Trail about 6pm by other users of the track.
They called for help and administered CPR until paramedics arrived, who pronounced the man dead at the scene.
