Queenstown Paraflights co-owner Carrick McLellan enjoys the company of a couple of canines, but has to keep them warm while on the Wakatipu waters.
Buddy, an 8-year-old Jack Russell, is a ‘‘full-time'' mascot with the business, going on every jet-boat ride with customers, while Olly, a 4-year-old Jack Russell-Bichon is still in training.
Mr McLellan said the dogs had been kitted out in their canine Driza-Bone coats for the past three winters, helping to keep the cold at bay while cruising the lake on the company's jet-boat.
