The European-inspired store offers a range of flowers as well homeware and gifts. Its service also extends to corporate events, weddings and the supply of bouquets and hampers to order.
Renaissance is the newest retailer to open at the shopping centre's "building 10", joining Whitcoulls, SpecSavers, Mooch and Canterbury of New Zealand.
Centre manager Joanna Hollander said in a statement she looked forward to seeing the store flourish along with the growing list of retail stores.
"It's lovely to see the beautiful range of bouquets, flower arrangements, exotic plants and individual flowers on offer and, of course, the timing is perfect.
"The building has a wonderful atmosphere now with the new stores in place. Between them all there's a wonderful range of Valentine gifts on offer."
The 960sq m building is now fully tenanted with the sixth and final tenant, Australia's largest home-grown cafe group, the Coffee Club, due to open shortly.
The building was opened in October 2010 by DNZ, which manages the town centre for its owner Diversified NZ Property Fund Ltd.
