Fog disrupts Queenstown flights

Hundreds of passengers have had their travel plans disrupted after fog at Queenstown Airport caused seven flights to be cancelled or delayed.

Mt Cook Airline's AT7 flight from Queenstown to Christchurch, which was scheduled to depart at 10.20am, was cancelled. Its 12.55pm service is on schedule.

Air New Zealand's Boeing 737-300 will leave Queenstown for Auckland 20 minutes late this afternoon.

Jetstar's Airbus A320 is set to depart the Queenstown for Auckland two hours and 10 minutes late at 3.20pm.

Air NZ's Boeing 737-300 departed Auckland for Queenstown 28 minutes late, while Mt Cook Airlines' AT7 aircraft departed Christchurch for Queenstown five minutes late this morning.

Jetstar's Airbus A320 was almost three hours late departing Auckland for Queenstown this morning and the airline's Airbus was 10 minutes late departing Wellington for Queenstown this morning.
