The group, managed by Jim Ryan, bought the iPad earlier this month and already it is booked out for the next month.
Member Taylor Reed was quick to respond to an email sent by Mr Ryan and so became the first of the group to trial the Arrownet iPad.
Mr Reed said he was amazed at how little power it used and the functions were "incredible for such a little thing".
Arrownet was established in 2007 to assist members over 50 with computers and the iPad meant members could trial the device first before deciding whether to buy one.
