Two female tourists were robbed in a Queenstown supermarket car park by a man "wielding a large knife''.

The offence occurred at 9.45pm on Thursday and was reported yesterday.
The man approached the tourists' car in the car park of the Fresh Choice supermarket with a knife and after the victims handed over some cash he walked out of the car park to where he had left a bicycle.
He was captured on CCTV cameras and police describe him as wearing a beanie, head lamp and colourful shoes, possibly with red or orange laces.
