It is now "three for three" for the Altitude team after winning the premier grade final of the Wakatipu New World Netball Centre championship on Saturday for the third year in a row.
A slow start saw the team lagging behind challenger Chico's ABL but Altitude picked up the pace throughout the match for a convincing 52-36 win.
Altitude captain Erin Aston said the team had not expected to win by such a large margin as the Chico's players "use their heads".
However, Altitude's fluid gameplay and confident passes across the court had the game sewn up by the last quarter.
Coach Bronwyn Gardiner said the team's success was down to the length of time it had played together.
Although the team was only formed three years ago, Gardiner said many of its members were ex-Wakatipu High School pupils who had played together at school.
They had left to start careers but returned and formed the team.
Although most spectators at Wakatipu netball games preferred to cheer for the "underdog", Aston said most of the Altitude team members were looking forward to returning next year.
Chico's ABL goal defence Corinne Dix said her team had enjoyed a great season and was "stoked" to have made it to the final.
