Two rounds of the semifinals will be held on Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the Queenstown Memorial Centre before competitors head to Auckland for the third semifinal round next Wednesday and Thursday.
The final will be held at the Auckland Town Hall on June 13, with the winner receiving $40,000, a recording contract with Atoll, a 2016 Winners Tour and a personalised professional development programme.
