The Otago Daily Times understands another arrest was made on Friday in relation to an alleged kidnapping in the Crown Range Rd on November 26.
The Ministry of Justice confirmed charges were sworn on Friday afternoon, but could not provide any details.
Detective Sergeant Brian Cameron, of Queenstown, could not be contacted over the weekend to give further information.
Rachel Maree Faul (20), receptionist, of Speargrass Flat, was remanded in custody to Christchurch Women's Prison following a bail hearing before Judge Raoul Neave in the Queenstown District Court on Thursday.
She is charged with intending to commit a crime, namely assault by violent means, rendering Jason Wynyard incapable of resistance; and unlawfully carrying off Mr Wynyard without his consent with intent to cause him to be confined, both charges laid indictably.
