Ray and Fiona Reid, of Palmerston North, and Ruby the dog, in their Kenworth, were among 200 truckies who piled into the Cardrona Hotel for lunch yesterday on their way south with the 10-day South Island classic truck tour. The tour includes about 70 North Island vehicles that will take in a loop around the South Coast before heading back to the end of the tour in Timaru.
