Queenstown and Frankton volunteer firefighters were acknowledged on Saturday night at a dinner at Goldridge Hotel in Frankton.
Certificates for service were presented to 16 volunteers.
The prestigious three-year certificate was awarded to qualified firefighters Paul Halsted and Eoin Kelly, and operational support/secretary Katherine Lamont, all of the Queenstown Volunteer Fire Brigade, and Samantha Wills, of the Frankton Volunteer Fire Brigade.
The five-year medal award went to Senior Firefighter Clare Mallard-Paul, of the Queenstown Fire Brigade.
Queenstown brigade Chief Fire Officer Bob Robertson acknowledged his 52 years' service.
