Erik’s chain reels in awards

Staff at a Queenstown Lakes fish and chips restaurant chain  have bagged two national hospitality awards.

Erik’s Fish and Chips in Queenstown, which only opened two and a-half years ago,  won  an award for excellence in marketing at the 2018  Hospitality New Zealand Awards for Excellence, presented in  Queenstown on Thursday.

And the Erik’s restaurant in Wanaka won the inaugural People’s Choice Award.

Erik’s owner and general manager Anna Arndt said she was "completely blown away and completely proud" of her team.

She said the Erik’s Fish and Chips chain’s success was down to "passion, drive, a wonderful team of staff and just dedication to our business".
