A weak earthquake near Skippers has been felt throughout the Wakatipu.
Geonet reported the magnitude 3.4 earthquake at 1.56pm was 15km deep and located 20km north of Queenstown - near Skippers in the Shotover River Valley.
Felt reports were centred largely contained to Queenstown and Arrowtown, with most reporting it as "weak'' or "light'' shaking.
