One person was transported to hospital with moderate injuries after a car rolled off the highway and into a ditch near Queenstown.
A police spokeswoman said they were called to the Lake Hayes-Arrow Junction highway (State Highway 6) about 5.30am on Tuesday.
A car had reportedly rolled into a ditch while taking a corner on the highway.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokeswoman said it responded with two crews from Arrowtown and Frankton.
No-one was trapped.
A Hato Hone St John spokesman said it responded with one ambulance.
One patient was assessed at the scene and transport to Lakes District Hospital with moderate injuries, the spokesman said. — Allied Media
