Amway would like to return to Queenstown, after a visit by about 6500 Amway China staff this year gained the highest approval rating of any staff incentive programme the company has run.

Destination Queenstown chief executive Graham Budd said at the Conventions and Incentives New Zealand conference in Auckland this week the visit, which began in April and was done in 11 waves, achieved a 96% satisfaction rate.

Mr Budd said Queenstown showed Amway, and other businesses that looked at Amway to see how successful its events were, it could successfully host such events.

''They themselves have said they'd be back.

''They loved it, and clearly their delegates did.''

The success of the visit would also attract the many other incentive programmes, both from Amway businesses in other countries, and other businesses.

It was the largest incentive programme New Zealand had hosted, with an economic impact estimated at $37million.
