Victoria Ludemann, founder of The AI Marketing Club, says many tourism and hospitality businesses aren’t aware "if you’re not appearing in AI search, you’re simply invisible to your customers".
"Our training solves that problem."
She points out as AI rapidly reshapes how travellers discover and book online, search results are shifting from thousands of blue links to a small set of AI-curated options — often just four to 10 recommendations.
With many of those spots increasingly taken by online travel agencies, she’s concerned tourism providers who don’t adapt risk losing visibility and revenue.
"That’s why this partnership with Hospitality NZ is so important — they recognise the urgency of the issue for their members, and quite frankly it’s an honour to be partnered with such a forward-thinking organisation."
Lee Brown, head of operations at Hospitality NZ, says they’re "excited to partner with The AI Marketing Club to give our members access to training and practical tools to capture direct bookings and be discovered through AI search more consistently".
"Victoria’s approach has already resonated strongly at our conferences and events, and this partnership builds directly on that demand."
Ludemann’s been in tech for 25-plus years. As an approved regional business partner network provider, she was commissioned during Covid to conduct digital marketing reviews that helped tourism businesses pivot from international to domestic markets.
