Winter welcomed with fireworks

A fireworks display lit up Queenstown Bay last night as part of ‘‘Welcome to Winter’’, a three-day schedule of events in the Wakatipu Basin that began yesterday afternoon.

Other attractions yesterday included performances on stage at Earnslaw Park by musicians Laughton Kora, Jackie Bristow and DUAL.
