For hardy swimmers, The RealNZ Whakatipu Legend’s winter swim is on again this Saturday in Queenstown Bay.
There is the choice of the 500-metre one-lap ‘The Frigid’ or 1000m two-lap ‘Bone Chilling’.
Online registration — thewhakatipulegend.co.nz — closes 8am on Saturday.
Onsite registration is from 10.15am, the compulsory briefing is at 11am and both swims start 11.10am.
