Balclutha man named as crash victim

The man killed in a crash in Rongahere Rd, Beaumont, at the weekend was Alan Dean Teraki (52), of Balclutha.

Police said on Sunday they were notified at 3.36pm a vehicle had crashed and rolled.

The occupant of the vehicle died at the scene, the statement said.

Yesterday, a police spokeswoman said it was believed the vehicle had crashed some time before it was found on Sunday.
