The 13th annual Clutha Super Masters Games - the "Olympics" for the older generation - will be held in Balclutha next week.
The event involves rest-home residents from around the district gathering for a day of sport and friendship.
Long-time convener Harry Peggie said the event would be held at the Balclutha War Memorial Hall on Wednesday after being opened by Clutha Mayor Juno Hayes.
