Police are hoping to find the owners of a lost watch and knife before they are sold at auction.
Senior Constable Steve Griffiths, of Milton, said the two items had been found in the past three months. The man's watch has the inscription: "Jamie, happy 21st. Love Holly" while the stainless steel knife with a hard plastic shell is decorated with wolves.
• Police have recovered six of the nine children's scooters stolen from Findlaters Yamaha in Balclutha last month. .
Constable Robin Hutton, of Milton, said property stolen from the Caltex garage at Milton a week later had been recovered.
Four arrests had been made in relation to the burglaries.
• Police want information about two window-smashing incidents - at Gillions Funeral Services on Union St, Milton on Saturday night or early Sunday morning and a Nissan vehicle parked on Union St.
